We highly recommend that you require your students to take a library assessment after the library instruction session. 

The Library Assessment is available in the two following formats:

• MS Word - You can print out the assessment and distribute it to your students.  Here is the answer key for the print version.
  
  

• Zip file for Blackboard - Save the .zip file on your local drive and work through the following steps to import and deploy the test into your Eng111 Blackboard. Tests will be automatically graded upon completion.  If you need assistance, please call 523-5329.  Thank you.

How to Import the Library Assessment into Blackboard

Step One:

• Save Zip file for Blackboard on your local drive.

Step Two:

• Enter your course where you would like the Library Assessment to be deployed.

• Click Control Panel

• Click Import Package

• Click Browse and locate the zipped Library Assessment you have saved in Step One.

• Select the zipped Library Assessment and click Open.

Step Three:

• Checking the following:

  • Settings

  • Tests, Surveys, & Pools

  • Gradebook settings

• Click Submit when complete
  
  The Library Assessment is now located in your Test Manager and can be deployed.

How to Deploy the Library Assessment in Blackboard

You can deploy the Library Assessment as you deploy any other test you have created in Blackboard.

Step One:

• In Control Panel, click Assignments in Content Areas.

• Click Add Test.

• Select Library Assessment for Eng111, and Submit.

• Click OK at the message: The test is successfully added.

Step Two:

• Click Modify the Test options.

• Check "Yes" for Do you want to make the link visible?

• Check Allow multiple attempts. 
  (You can leave all other options as default.)

• Submit. 

Your students are now ready to take the Library Assessment deployed in Assignments.
